You agree that you are permitted to use material and/or content only as set out in these Terms and Conditions. No other use is permitted without express authorisation by us in writing and, where given, you agree not to, in part or full, copy, transmit, distribute, exploit commercially, amend, translate, share with or make available to any other person any such material or content or create derivative works of such material or content.


Intellectual Property

We are the sole owners and authorised users of all trademarks, service marks, design marks, patents, copyrights, database rights, image rights for photographs contained on the website and all other intellectual property appearing on or contained within the website including but not limited to the page design and layout and the source code. Except where provided for under these Terms and Conditions, use of ‘the site’ does not grant any right, title, interest or licence to you of any such intellectual property and any use or reproduction of the intellectual property is prohibited.


Account Creation and Dashboard

In order to be considered for a PIN, you must create an account within the website. You must agree to provide accurate information and keep your contact information up to date. If there needs to be communication about your account or application – the primary communication channels will be email and phone. 

Once you have created an account, a profile and completed the modules, you are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of this information. 

The information submitted via your Dashboard is provided in order to ascertain PINNED status. The answers will be evaluated by The Pinnacle Guide team. 

You are solely responsible for any content you upload or otherwise make available through the Dashboard and must confirm you have full responsibility to upload or otherwise make available all information you choose to provide. You must take responsibility for the legality, reliability, accuracy and appropriateness of the information.
In the creation of your account, you must not Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation, with any person or organisation. 

We reserve the right to terminate your application and/or remove PIN status without notice should we determine that an account contains inaccuracies or untruths.

By uploading images via the Dashboard – you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide exclusive and perpetual right and licence to use and reproduce such material in any way, in whole or part, for any purpose by whatever means. 

You must not engage in any conduct that is unlawful, offensive or violates the rights of others. This includes (but is not limited to) spamming, hacking or transmitting viruses.

We reserve the right to terminate your access if there is any violation of terms laid out in this agreement or if you engage in any behaviour that is considered to be unacceptable. This includes (but is not limited to) false representation, misuse of data, malicious behaviour or intellectual property violation.


The Company name, the Company logo and all related names, logos, product, service names and  designs  are trademarks of the Company or its affiliates or licensors.

You may use the The Pinnacle Guide logo to promote your business only once you have a valid PIN status – i.e. you have been recognised with a 1, 2 or 3 PIN rating.
The appropriately-tiered PIN logo may only be used in association with the bar that has been recognised and may not be used in conjunction with any subsidiaries or associated companies without prior written permission from The Pinnacle Guide.
You shall use the logo in a manner that accurately represents your accreditation status and in accordance with any guidelines or instructions provided by The Pinnacle Guide.

You may link to our website, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, or suggest any form of false association, approval, or endorsement by us, where that permission has not been granted.

In the event that your PIN status is terminated for any reason – including expiry – permission to use the logo will be immediately revoked, and you must cease all use of the logo in any form of promotion or communication. 

You are welcome to print hard copies of material from the website solely for your lawful, personal and non-commercial use. All other copying in whatever form, whether electronic, hard copy or any other format or use for commercial purposes without our prior written consent, is prohibited. All other rights are reserved.

No photography, imagery, text, source code or any other material shown on the the website may be used in any circumstances for commercial purposes, nor may any of our material herein be altered, cropped, transformed, built upon, or in any other way changed or reproduced, whether from our own websites or copied from third party websites in breach of this condition themselves or otherwise redistributed without our prior written permission.


The Pinnacle Guide has the right to communicate on a successful PIN status on the website and social media platforms as well as in publications and press releases. You agree to supply assets to support us in these communications, such as logos, photos, video or other communication content.

The Pinnacle Guide will accurately represent your results and accreditation. Any information shared will be based on the information provided by you and verified through the assessment process. You are encouraged to review any communication related to your PINNED status. If there are inaccuracies or concerns, you should let The Pinnacle Guide know as soon as possible. 

The Pinnacle Guide reserves the right to terminate or amend the communication of PINNED status in cases of significant changes in policies, regulations, or circumstances.



Any official reviewers visiting cocktail bars on behalf of The Pinnacle Guide must abide by our rules of anonymity – prohibiting the publishing of their identity, or any other details that might make their identity obvious. 

Specific information pertaining to the particular cocktail bar shall be shared before the visit and shall be included in the Assignment. 

Reviews must be carried out and documented honestly, diligently, accurately, promptly and according to all of the general and specific instructions provided.

Once submitted – the information (including Assessment Forms and Summary Reports) is the intellectual property of (and copyright to) The Pinnacle Guide. 

Training will be provided in order by us to ensure a full understanding of the rules of anonymity.  



Except where otherwise agreed we shall reimburse anonymous reviewers for expenses equivalent to two menu-listed cocktails (up to the cost of £25 – or equivalent – to include service). If requested – reviewers must submit receipts to support each claim for expenses.


Third-party websites

You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any content of any third-party websites or material you may access through the website.

We do not endorse and shall not be held responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products or services on or available from such websites or material. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible or liable either directly or indirectly for any damages, loss or costs incurred in connection with your use of or reliance of any such content, advertising, products or services on or available from such websites.

Any dealings between you and any third-party advertisers or merchants found on or via the website including payment for and delivery of products, services and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings are made between you and the relevant advertiser or merchant. Consequently, we are not responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as the result of any such dealings.

No liability

Unless where expressly provision for in law we disclaim all liability for any loss, cost or damage (incurred directly, indirectly, consequentially or otherwise) suffered by you as a result of your use of ‘the site’ including but not limited to computer viruses or distributed denial of service attack transmitted through ‘the site’ or from third-party sites accessed through ‘the site’ whether such loss, cost or damage arises from our negligence or otherwise whether or not we expressly informed of the possibility of such loss or damage.


If you are a business user, you agree to indemnify us immediately on demand, against all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of these terms and conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of the website.


We reserve the right immediately to suspend or terminate your use of the website if you breach or we have reasonable grounds to believe that you are likely to breach these terms and conditions or you otherwise engage in conduct which we determine in our sole discretion to be unacceptable.

We may also remove the website as a whole or any sections or features of the website at any time. Please note that we have the ability to trace your IP address and if necessary contact your ISP in the event of a suspected breach of these Terms and Conditions.

The Pinnacle Guide collects and processes personal data from you in order to make an assessment via the website dashboard and subsequently award PINNED status. The types of personal data collected may include, but are not limited to, name, contact information, business details, and assessment responses. 

We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your data. All personal data collected and processed by us is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The personal data collected by us is used for the purpose of assessment for The Pinnacle Guide, providing support and communicating with you. 

The Pinnacle Guide may use aggregated, anonymized data for statistical analysis, research, and reporting purposes. Your individual results will not be identifiable in these cases. In such instances, The Pinnacle Guide will not seek consent before using or communicating about this anonymised data. Users who prefer not to have their data included in such aggregated reports may opt out by contacting The Pinnacle Guide and indicating their preference in writing.

We may share personal data with third-party service providers who assist in the operation and maintenance of the website, such as hosting providers and payment processors.
