Every shift begins with a spirited “1920!” shout, energising the team and setting the tone for the evening. Staff undergo rigorous training in cocktail technique, service, and 1920s-inspired theatre, shadowing senior bartenders to ensure creativity, consistency, and an immersive guest experience.

1920 Speakeasy delivers an unforgettable Prohibition-era experience atop the 52nd floor of ICD Brookfield Place. Sweeping views of Dubai’s skyline frame an interior brimming with 1920s glamour—plush seating, warm Art Deco lighting, mirrored panels, and geometric accents transport guests to a bygone era of elegance and intrigue.

The atmosphere is brought to life with a live swing band, providing a jazzy soundtrack that enhances the immersive environment. Guests are welcomed personally, escorted to their seats, and offered a choice of still or sparkling water. To complement the experience, a small bite of caramelised, spiced popcorn adds a playful, thematic touch.

Cocktails are the heart of 1920 Speakeasy, with a menu rooted in gin and Prohibition-era classics. Signature drinks, including the Gibson, are elevated with inventive twists, theatrical garnishes, and meticulous presentation. Each serve balances flavour, aroma, and visual theatre, while four non-alcoholic options ensure inclusivity. Shared experiences are encouraged with drinks designed for two or small groups, heightening the communal, speakeasy feel.
